What Information We Gather/Track

You may decide whether to proceed with any activity that requests personally identifiable information. If you do not wish to provide the requested information, however, you may not be able to complete the transaction.

Registration for Support, Downloads and Training: We ask you for certain personally identifiable information as part of the registration for accesing our Support, Downloads and Training Services (including but not limited to your name, email address, mailing address and phone number, and information about the quantity, type and serial numbers of computers at your site). Certain of this information is necessary in order to conclude the transaction, and for applicable products, to be eligible to receive technical support. We and our Business Partners use this information to send you communications, including product license keys, informative emails/newsletters about ASI product upgrades, product updates, new products, and services, and to provide you with special offers that may be of interest to you. In the event you no longer wish to receive such information, you may choose to opt out of receiving further communications by complying with the procedures listed in the "Updating/Unsubscribing Your Email Address" section of this Privacy Policy.

Technical Support: If you request technical support online, we will ask you for information necessary to complete the transaction such as your name, email address and information about your computer hardware, software, and the nature of the problem you are experiencing. In the course of providing support, your data may be transmitted to service providers that are under contract to ASI and have agreed to abide by the provisions of this privacy policy.

Surveys: ASI periodically requests information from users via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and you have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Survey information is not sold, shared, or rented to any third party except Business Partners directly involved in the marketing, sale, delivery or support of ASI products, and is used internally solely by ASI for purposes of improving the use and satisfaction of this Site, Services, and our products.

Site Functionality

Persistent "cookies" are small pieces of information that your browser stores on your computer on behalf of a Web site that you have visited. The Site does not use persistent cookies. In order to complete transactions on our site, we do use session cookies. These session cookies do not collect information about you, only about your browser session, and they are destroyed when you close your browser. No data is stored on your computer.

Log Files
We (ASI and/or our Business Partners directly involved in the marketing, sale, delivery or support of ASI products) do keep track of the domains from which you access our Site on the World Wide Web, and may log IP addresses or other identifiers. We do this to gather information regarding use of our Site to identify frequency of access to specific pages in the Site as well as to track users' movements within the Site. This helps us to determine the popularity or visitor interest in each page or component of the Site.

Additionally, all access performed while logged-in is tracked and logged for ASI�s internal use for security and support purposes.

Updating/Unsubscribing Your Email Address
Our users are given the opportunity to "opt-out" of having their information used for purposes not directly related to our Site at the point where we ask for the information.

If you wish to update your email address in order to receive ASI communications at a new address, we ask that you unsubscribe your old email address first, and then provide your new email address by typing it into the "My Account Settings" section of the ASI web site that is accessible upon Login.
